Morning Prayer, Tuesday, April 1, 2014
Heavenly Father, forgive me for being judgmental towards others, when I should fervently pray for others. Lord help to open my eyes, so I can see the power that’s in Your word and receive Your word into my heart. Father, help me not to be a sanctimonious, self-righteous, or hypocritical person. Help me to live in the power of Your grace, Your mercy, Your love, and Your goodness. It’s only because of Jesus that I am in right standing with You. Help me to know that Your word is the truth and You will judge me according to your word of righteousness. Thank You Father for helping me to know the difference between the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Thank You for allowing me to repent when a sin is made. Thank You Jesus for teaching me and showing me the way I should go. In Jesus Holy name I pray, Amen.

Matthew 7:1-5

Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.
